‘Knight Rider’ is cut down!

Remember NBC’s announcement of a full season of Knight Rider TV show? If yes, then, you know how many episodes were planned for the first season of the revamp of 80s show. Yeah, we’re sure to have 22 episodes of the show, but it’s not gonna happen now as fall in show ratings has forced the NBC network to change their decision. Now, ‘Knight Rider’ will air its first season 1 finale on February 25th, 2009. It simply means that series has cut down four episodes. More surprising is that they’ve decided to remove Yancey Arias, Bruce Davison, and Sydney Tamiia Poitier’s characters from the show.

I still remember the day when news came out that NBC had decided to reformat the show so that they could make it closer to the storyline of its predecessor. It means that they already had some intentions of what might happen and it ultimately made them to cut down the show…. Ahh! It’s really very devastating news.

What do they do with the five unaired episodes which were planned to be a part of the Knight Rider Season 1? Well, I think, we’ll see them in the Knight Rider Season 2. It means that the storyline of first season of ‘Knight Rider’ will continue up to second season.

Have you heard about the cancellation of ‘Knight Rider’? Hey… trust me; all rumors of ‘Knight Rider’ cancellation are just rumors as the show-runner Gary Scott made it clear to the fans that the network has not cancelled ‘Knight Rider’ yet!

At least, it’s nice to hear that Knight Rider is not cancelled; cutting down the first season is a decision which is taken in order to settle the stuff. I hope, network’s decision will help the show to boost up the ratings and they buddies will return with more enthusiasm and more entertaining stuff.
